Rebellion Tour
The Rebellion Route
Walk with me from the Bearna Baoil of the Three Bullet Gate in the footsteps of Kelly the Boy from Kilann and his Bantry men along the streets where the poorly equipped United Irishmen pressed their attack on the defending Crown Forces. We will stand where the attackers faced an artillery barrage of chain shot and musket fire armed only with pikes and blind courage.
Kennedy Footsteps Tour
Walk in The Footsteps of The Kennedy Family
JFK’s great grandfather Patrick Kennedy worked as a cooper (barrel maker) in Cherry’s Brewery, New Ross until he emigrated in 1848.
We follow the route of his daily commute to and from work along the same streets and past many of the same buildings. We tell the story of those streets, people and buildings spiced up with their stories and anecdotes.
New Tours …
William Marshal Route
Immerse yourself in the world of the Normans
An exciting tour honouring the legacy of William Marshal, the Greatest Knight. He had such an impact on the town of New Ross he deserves a tour purely dedicated to him and his devoted wife Isabel
The town and port of New Ross is testament to Marshal’s power and commercial acumen and was the biggest single undertaking of the Norman era in County Wexford.
